The major responsibility of the Church Mother is to help build the women’s ministry through the utilization of auxiliaries, units, evangelism, and prayer ministry. The Church Mother should be a Titus 2 woman, who teaches women to be good homemakers and how to love their husbands and their children. The Church Mother should have good organizational skills, using those skills to develop a strong, spirit-filled, progressive women’s department and help build the ministry of the local church. The Church Mothers board can only operate effectively with the authority given by the pastor.
